History Helping Honor Vietnam Vets

History Channel is partnering with the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund’s (VVMF) Call for Photos, a nationwide campaign to collect a photograph for each of the 58,272 men and women whose names are inscribed on The Wall at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The goal is to ensure Vietnam veterans’ stories and sacrifices will never be forgotten

Anyone with a picture of a service member listed on The Wall is encouraged to submit it online. Collected photographs will be displayed in the future Education Center at The Wall and appear on the VVMF’s Virtual Memorial Wall.

The partnership ties to History Channel’s upcoming six-hour special, “Vietnam in HD,” premiering Nov. 8.

History Channel is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
