‘Mandela,’ ‘Mr. Banks’ Now On Demand

Two more Oscar-nominated films are now available through Suddenlink On Demand.

Golden Globe-winner Idris Elba stars in “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom,” a moving biopic of Nelson Mandela, the jailed activist who became president of South Africa and helped rebuild the once-segregated society. Naomie Harris co-stars. (see trailer)

New on VOD: ‘Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close’

The film adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer’s novel “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close ” is now available through Suddenlink Video on Demand. An inventive 11-year-old New Yorker’s discovery of a key in his deceased father’s belongings sets him on an urgent search across the city for the lock it will open. The post-911 drama stars Thomas Horn, Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock.
