‘The Notebook’ TV Series in the Works

The CW announced last week that it is teaming with New York Times best-selling author Nicholas Sparks to reboot “The Notebook” as a television series. The romantic novel follows the journey of two beloved characters as they build their lives together.

“The Notebook” garnered a large fan base after it was adapted as a film in 2004 . A TV remake, however, might have several changes. “I don’t believe we’re going to see the older couple,” said CW president Mark Pedowitz. “But again, things change and we’re just now in the development stage.”

The CW is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
