‘The Americans’ Season Two Debuts Tonight

Cold War spy drama “The Americans” returns for a second season tonight on FX, 9 p.m. CT.

The plot: Two KGB spies, played by Kerri Russell and Matthew Rhys, pose as Americans in suburban Washington, D.C., shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected president. As their arranged marriage grows more passionate and genuine by the day, their relationship is complicated by a growing sense of affinity for America’s values and way of life, as well as by their neighbor, an FBI agent working in counterintelligence.

FX is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
