TiVo Stream Launched in Eureka, Calif.

Today we announced the availability of TiVo® Stream service in Eureka, Calif.  TiVo Stream allows customers to stream TV shows around the house wirelessly on iPod Touch, iPads and iPhones, and also transfer DVR-recorded programs to the same mobile devices for later viewing on the go.

Ability to transfer some programs to TiVo Stream devices may be prohibited by the program owners. Android devices and access to video-on-demand content will be added later.

Since October 2012, TiVo Stream has been launched in more than 60 Suddenlink communities in Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina and Texas. We expect to further expand the availability of TiVo Stream to additional markets in the near future.

TiVo Premiere Launched in Humboldt County, Calif.

Today, Suddenlink launched the TiVo® Premiere DVR in Humboldt County, Calif. TiVo Premiere combines Suddenlink’s service with TiVo’s best-in-class user interface to offer access to thousands of hours of entertainment choices, including content from Suddenlink’s video-on-demand library and the Web, all accessible through TiVo’s advanced search and discovery features.

Humboldt County customers with multiple TiVo® Premiere DVRs from Suddenlink will also be able to start watching a recorded program in one room and continue it in another. For example, Suddenlink customers with three TiVo Premiere DVRs can record up to six shows at the same time, watch recordings on any TV, start watching in one room and resume in another, and have up to 600 hours of recording space.

Suddenlink is the only multichannel TV service provider in the community to offer TiVo Premiere DVR.

Since late last year, the device has been launched in more than 35 Suddenlink communities in Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, and West Virginia. Suddenlink plans to expand the availability of the device to additional markets this year and in 2012.
