TiVo Stream Service Introduced

Starting last week, we expanded the availability of the ground-breaking TiVo® Stream service, which allows customers to stream TV shows around the house wirelessly on iPod Touch, iPads and iPhones, and also transfer DVR-recorded programs to the same mobile devices for later viewing on the go.

Ability to transfer some programs to these devices may be prohibited by the program owners. Android devices and access to video-on-demand content will be added later.

In October, we became the first cable provider in the country to offer TiVo Stream, which is now available in the following communities: Abilene, Amarillo, Andrews, Big Spring, Canyon, Floydada, Lubbock, Midland, Plainview, Post, San Angelo, Snyder and Sweetwater, Texas; Clovis, N.M.; and Greenville, Kinston, New Bern, Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Williamston and Washington, N.C.

We expect to further expand the availability of TiVo Stream to additional markets in the near future.

Snyder, Sweetwater Get Faster Internet Service

Yesterday, we launched High-Speed Internet 30.0 service in Snyder and Sweetwater, Texas. With a download speed up to 30 Megabits per second (Mbps), it is the fastest residential service in both communities.

Any-Room DVR Offered in West Texas, Clovis, N.M.

Beginning today, West Texas and Clovis, N.M., customers with TiVo® Premiere DVRs from Suddenlink will be able to begin watching a program in one room and continue it in another, as well as watch recordings on any TV connected to a TiVo Premiere device. TiVo Premiere DVRs are now offered in Clovis and the following West Texas cities: Lubbock, Plainview, Post, Floydada, Abilene, Snyder, Sweetwater, Amarillo, Canyon, Tulia, Midland, Big Spring, Andrews and San Angelo.New options are the result of software enhancements. For example, Suddenlink customers with three TiVo Premiere DVRs can record up to six shows at the same time, watch recordings on any TV, start watching in one room and resume in another, and have up to 600 hours of recording space.

The TiVo Premiere, first offered by the company last year, combines Suddenlink’s service with TiVo’s best-in-class user interface, to provide access to thousands of hours of entertainment choices, including content from Suddenlink’s video-on-demand (VOD) library and the Web, all accessible through TiVo’s advanced search and discovery features. Suddenlink is the only multichannel TV service provider in the communities to offer TiVo Premiere.

Earlier this month, any-room DVR service was introduced to Suddenlink customers in North Carolina. We will continue to announce launches of this service as they are confirmed.
