New Rocky Mount, N.C., Store Unveiled

Suddenlink regional executives, local leaders and Chamber of Commerce officials last week held a grand opening ceremony at Suddenlink’s new retail store in Rocky Mount, N.C.

The new design features bright blue and green décor, as well as interactive stations that offer visitors hands-on experience with Suddenlink products and services.

The Rocky Mount store will serve as a model for future Suddenlink retail store redesigns in eastern North Carolina.

Since September 2011, Suddenlink has unveiled new or renovated stores in Payson, Ariz.; Arkadelphia, Jonesboro, El Dorado, Mountain Home, Pocahontas and Russellville, Ark.; Alexandria, Bastrop, Bossier City, DeRidder, Natchitoches and Ruston, La.; Greenwood, Miss.; Branson and St. Joseph, Mo.; Stillwater, Okla.; Abilene, Bryan, Conroe, Little Elm, Lubbock, and  Nacogdoches, Texas; and Point Pleasant, W. Va.

North Carolina Region Again Helping Salvation Army


During the holiday season, Suddenlink is again serving as the food-drive media sponsor for the Salvation Army in eastern North Carolina.

The Greenville, New Bern, Rocky Mount, Kinston, and Washington Salvation Army branches are collecting canned and nonperishable goods at participating Suddenlink locations until Dec. 23. Donated items will be distributed to individuals and families in a 13-county area.

Television promotion of the food drive began Nov. 25 on Suddenlink’s local cable channel in eastern North Carolina. The commercial features television personality and sportscaster Jeff Charles.

Four N. C. Towns Get More HD Channels

Suddenlink today launched more high-definition (HD) TV channels in Greenville, Rocky Mount, Washington, and Williamston, N.C. The new HD channels include: Planet Green HD, The Science Channel HD, Investigation Discovery HD, Fuel TV HD, GSN HD, HSN HD, The Hub HD, OWN HD and BBC America HD.

HDTV offers a widescreen format, similar to a movie theater, with distinctly sharper images and better sound quality than standard TV.

The noted channel additions are part of Project Imagine. We will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services as they are confirmed.
