‘Rio 2′ Collection Available On Demand

Animated adventure “Rio 2” is now available through Suddenlink On Demand. The children’s sequel follows Blu, Jewel and their three kids after they are hurtled from Rio to the wilds of the Amazon. Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway lend their voice talents.

In addition, the “Rio 2” collection of top animated animal movies is also available. The lineup includes “Happy Feet,” “Ratatouille” and more. This collection will be available through August 19.

Five New Movies Debut on Suddenlink VOD

Animated adventure “Rio” headlines a package of five new movies available today on Suddenlink Video on Demand (VOD). “Rio” follows the adventures of a misfit macaw (voiced by Jesse Eisenberg) as he heads on a magnificent journey to Rio de Janeiro, where he makes some loyal new friends.

Other premieres include the following.

    “Jumping the Broom”: Angela Bassett and Paula Patton headline this comedy about two very different African-American families who clash during a lavish wedding at Martha’s Vineyard.

    “Mars Needs Moms”: Nine-year-old Milo (voiced by Seth Green) discovers just how much he needs his Mom (voiced by Joan Cusack) after she’s nabbed by Martians.

    “Your Highness”: When the bride of Prince Fabious (James Franco) is kidnapped, he goes on an epic adventure to rescue her, accompanied by his lazy, useless brother Thadeous (Danny McBride).

    “Paul”: Two science-fiction geeks (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) take a pilgrimage to Nevada’s Area 51. There they meet an alien who takes them on a road trip that alters their universe forever.
