Five Texas Communities Get More HD Channels

Suddenlink today launched more high-definition (HD) TV channels in Bryan-College Station, Georgetown, Leander, Pflugerville and Kingwood, Texas. The new HD channels include: The Weather Channel HD, Fuel HD, Planet Green HD, Investigation Discovery HD, BBC America HD, OWN HD, The Hub HD, HBO2 HD, HBO Comedy HD, HBO Latino HD, The Movie Channel HD and Starz Comedy HD.

HDTV offers a widescreen format, similar to a movie theater, with distinctly sharper images and better sound quality than standard TV.

The noted channel additions are part of Project Imagine. We will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services as they are confirmed.

MAX 107.0 Rolled Out in Conroe and Lake Conroe

Beginning today, residential customers in Conroe and Lake Conroe, Texas, can get Suddenlink’s High Speed Internet MAX 107.0 service. MAX 107.0 features a download speed up to 107 megabits per second (Mbps) and an upload speed up to 5 Mbps, the fastest residential service in these communities and among the fastest in the country offered by a major Internet service provider.

MAX 107 service was first launched in the Georgetown, Pflugerville and Leander, Texas, area. Subsequently, MAX 107.0 was introduced in Tyler, Whitehouse, Amarillo, Tulia, Lubbock, Post, Shallowater and Wolfforth, Texas, in Gallia, Meigs (Ohio), Mason and Jackson (West Virginia) counties. Most recently, the service was introduced in Midland, Texas, Bossier City (including Barksdale Air Force Base), Haughton, Lake Charles and Sulphur, La., and Nixa and Ozark, Mo.

The introduction of MAX 107 in Conroe and Lake Conroe is part of Project Imagine. Suddenlink will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services in other communities as they are confirmed.
