Disney Channel Hosts Original Movie Marathon

This Memorial Day weekend will be filled with Disney Channel nostalgia. In celebration of the network’s 100th film, a marathon of all 99 original movies will air throughout the four-day holiday.

The marathon will kick off on Friday, May 27, at 9 a.m. CT with the “Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama.” A full programming schedule is now available.

Disney Channel is available to all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.

‘Good Witch Halloween’ Premieres Saturday

Celebrate the Halloween season with a new Hallmark Channel original movie. “Good Witch Halloween” premieres tomorrow, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m. CT.

The mythical town of Middleton is preparing a haunted house for the annual Harvest Festival. They find themselves on edge when a mysterious stranger makes a visit. The cast of TV series “The Good Witch” stars.

UP Premieres First Scripted Series

Ties taht Bind

Tonight, UP will premiere “Ties that Bind,” an original drama, and the network’s first scripted series. The first episode will air at 8 p.m. CT.

Kelli Williams stars as Allison McLean, a tough and experienced police detective in suburban Seattle. When she is forced to arrest her brother for aggravated assault, his two teenage children are left in her care. Jonathan Scarfe and Dion Johnstone also star.

New Disney Channel Movie Premieres Tonight

The original movie “Teen Beach 2” debuts tonight on Disney Channel at 7 p.m. CT.

Modern day teens Mack and Brady get a real world visit from their surfer and biker friends from “Teen Beach”. Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell return to star in the sequel.

TV One Launches Original Movie Showcase

Next month, TV One will add a monthly original movie showcase to its programming schedule. The film lineup will begin Feb. 7 with “White Water,” which Variety describes as “a drama that has a timely theme of exploring segregation and racism during the era of the Civil Rights Movement.”

The second film in the series, “Hear No Evil,” will premiere on March 14.

Cable Nets Debut New Series Tonight

Looking for something fresh on TV? Cable networks have been busy rolling out new series, including these four which debut tonight. “Rush” and “Satisfaction” will premiere on USA, and FX will introduce “Married” and “You’re the Worst.”

On “Rush,” a renegade physician privately caters to the elite of Los Angeles for a hefty price tag. Tonight’s show starts at 8 p.m. CT.

Provocative drama “Satisfaction” explores modern marriage through the lens of one couple. The series delves into their shocking and unconventional choices, asking the question, “What do you do when having it all is not enough?” The show begins at 9 p.m. CT.

Married” is a comedy about being miserably in love. One couple navigates their life of kids and debt in suburbia, hoping to rekindle their once-fiery romance. It airs at 9 p.m. CT.

Original series “You’re the Worst” puts a dark twist on the romantic comedy genre. When a self-destructive narcissist and a cynical people-pleaser meet at a wedding, they begin to fall for one another, despite their best judgment. Showtime is 9:30 p.m. CT.
