Nine More Communities Get MAX 107.0

Beginning today, residential customers in Arkadelphia, Atkins, Dover, Heber Springs, Malvern and Newport Ark.; DeRidder and Minden La.; and Greenville Miss., can get our High-Speed Internet MAX 107.0 service. MAX 107.0 features a download speed up to 107 megabits per second (Mbps) and an upload speed up to 5 Mbps, the fastest residential service in these communities.

Since spring of 2010, MAX 107.0 has been made available to residential customers in the following Suddenlink-served communities:

  • Arkansas: Batesville, El Dorado, Hot Springs Village, Jonesboro, Mountain Home, Pocahontas and Russellville
  • Louisiana: Alexandria, Bossier City (including Barksdale Air Force Base), Grambling, Haughton, Lake Charles, Natchitoches, Ruston and Sulphur
  • Mississippi: Greenwood
  • Missouri: Branson, Nixa, Ozark, St. Joseph
  • North Carolina: Bethel, Chocowinity, parts of Edgecombe County, Enfield, Greenville, Kinston, LaGrange, New Bern, Parmele, Rocky Mount, Scotland Neck, Tarboro, Walnut Creek, Washington, Washington Park, Williamston, and other parts of Beaufort, Lenoir,Martin, and Wayne Counties
  • Oklahoma: Seminole, Wewoka
  • Texas: Abilene, Amarillo, Bryan-College Station, Conroe, Georgetown, Gladewater, Henderson, Jarrell, Kingwood, Pflugerville, Lake Conroe, Leander, Lufkin, Lubbock, Midland, Post, San Angelo, Shallowater, Tulia, Tyler, Whitehouse, Wolfforth

Minden Gets More HD Channels

Suddenlink today launched more high-definition (HD) TV channels in Minden, La. The new HD channels include: CBS Sports Network HD, Versus HD, truTV HD, MSNBC HD, Cartoon Network HD, Encore HD, Headline News HD, E! HD, ESPNews HD, Fox Soccer Channel HD, Fuel HD, G4 HD, Fuse HD, GSN HD, Independent Film Channel HD, Biography Channel HD, H2 HD, BBC America HD, Planet Green HD, The Science Channel HD, Investigation Discovery HD, Fox Business Network HD, OWN HD, Oxygen HD, WE tv HD, The Hub HD, Disney XD HD, HSN HD, HBO2 HD, HBO Family HD, HBO Comedy HD, HBO Latino HD, The Movie Channel HD and Starz Comedy HD.

HDTV offers a widescreen format, similar to a movie theater, with distinctly sharper images and better sound quality than standard TV.

VOD Service Introduced in Minden

Beginning today, our customers in Minden, La., who have Suddenlink digital receivers, can enjoy Video on Demand (VOD) service, available on Channel 1.

VOD features thousands of viewing choices, many of them in high-definition (HD) format, including movies, sports, news, music and popular cable-network shows. More than a third of the Suddenlink VOD library is free. The rest is available for either a per-view charge or monthly subscription. Viewers can order titles via remote control at any time.

The introduction of VOD in Minden is part of Project Imagine. Suddenlink will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services in other communities as they are confirmed.

All-Digital TV Switch Completed in Minden

After a three-month project, Suddenlink has completed the transition to an all-digital TV lineup in Minden, La., providing customers with superior picture and sound quality.

The service enhancement is part of Project Imagine, Suddenlink’s ongoing investment program. In addition to more high-definition (HD) programming, that program has brought faster Internet speeds to Minden. We will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services as they are confirmed.
