Cable networks had a strong showing at last night’s Primetime Emmys. Programs and individual actors on cable shows took home the majority of the awards in the major categories.
HBO dominated the evening with a total of 14 Emmy wins, including best drama series for “Game of Thrones” and comedy series for “Veep.” The network’s original miniseries “Olive Kitteridge” was also a standout, with a total of six wins.
AMC also fared well. John Hamm received one of the evening’s top honors, Lead Actor in a Drama Series, for his role in “Mad Men.”
AMC is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
