Get in the holiday spirit with the latest collection on Suddenlink On Demand. The lineup features more than a dozen seasonal films, including “Miracle on 34th Street,” “Planes, Trains and Automobiles,” “A Christmas Carol, and “Eight Crazy Nights.” This collection will be available through Jan. 4.

Where Suddenlink On Demand is available, check out these and other titles by going to Channel 1. To view the collection, go to “Movies & Events,” “Special Features,” “Holiday Classics.” A Suddenlink digital receiver is required to access the On Demand menu.

‘Empire’ Leads to Host Holiday Special

FOX’s “Empire” is taking a mid-season break, but fans can enjoy the cast tonight on “Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays.” The special will feature modern performances of seasonal classics by Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, and John Legend. Hosts Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard will also sing a duet, along with other surprise guests and performances.

Tonight’s music and variety program begins at 8 p.m. CT. New episodes of “Empire” will return in March 2016.

ABC Family Kicks Off Holiday Programming

ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas kicks off today, and includes original and classic holiday programming every evening through Dec. 25. The lineup features family favorites, including “Disney’s A Christmas Carol,” “The Year without a Santa Clause,” “Jack Frost,” and “Frosty’s Winter Wonderland.”

Get in the holiday spirit tonight with “The Polar Express” at 6 p.m. CT, followed by “Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” View a full schedule of programming now.

‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ Turns 50

Kristen Bell will host holiday special “It’s Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown” this evening on ABC to honor the anniversary of the iconic classic. Live performances by special musical guests including Kristen Chenoweth, Sarah McLachlan, Pentatonix and Matthew Morrison will begin at 7CT. The award-winning cartoon, which originally premiered in 1965, will follow at 8CT.

Cable Nets Celebrate Halloween

October has arrived, and it’s time to get in the Halloween spirit. Cable networks will offer a variety of spooky programming this month to celebrate.

Several shows, including “Girl Meets World” and “American Horror Story: Hotel,” will feature special themed episodes. AMC, FX and other networks will show classic horror flicks. Scary marathons will also air on channels like Syfy and ABC Family.

An extensive list of Halloween programming scheduled in October is now available.
