Nine More Communities Get MAX 107.0

Beginning today, residential customers in Arkadelphia, Atkins, Dover, Heber Springs, Malvern and Newport Ark.; DeRidder and Minden La.; and Greenville Miss., can get our High-Speed Internet MAX 107.0 service. MAX 107.0 features a download speed up to 107 megabits per second (Mbps) and an upload speed up to 5 Mbps, the fastest residential service in these communities.

Since spring of 2010, MAX 107.0 has been made available to residential customers in the following Suddenlink-served communities:

  • Arkansas: Batesville, El Dorado, Hot Springs Village, Jonesboro, Mountain Home, Pocahontas and Russellville
  • Louisiana: Alexandria, Bossier City (including Barksdale Air Force Base), Grambling, Haughton, Lake Charles, Natchitoches, Ruston and Sulphur
  • Mississippi: Greenwood
  • Missouri: Branson, Nixa, Ozark, St. Joseph
  • North Carolina: Bethel, Chocowinity, parts of Edgecombe County, Enfield, Greenville, Kinston, LaGrange, New Bern, Parmele, Rocky Mount, Scotland Neck, Tarboro, Walnut Creek, Washington, Washington Park, Williamston, and other parts of Beaufort, Lenoir,Martin, and Wayne Counties
  • Oklahoma: Seminole, Wewoka

More HD Channels Introduced in Heber Springs

Today, we launched more high-definition (HD) TV channels in Heber Springs, Ark. The new channels include: Turner Classic Movies HD, Fuse HD, Independent Film Channel HD, Biography Channel HD, H2 HD, Disney XD HD, Destination America HD, The Science Channel HD and Investigation Discovery HD.

HDTV offers a widescreen format, similar to a movie theater, with distinctly sharper images and better sound quality than standard TV.

Heber Springs, Ark., Gets VOD Service

Beginning today, our customers in Heber Springs, Ark., who have Suddenlink digital receivers, can enjoy video on demand (VOD) service, available on Channel 1.

VOD features thousands of viewing choices, many of them in high-definition (HD) format, including movies, sports, news, music and popular cable-network shows. More than a third of the Suddenlink VOD library is free. The rest is available for either a per-view charge or monthly subscription. Viewers can order titles via remote control at any time.

The introduction of VOD in Heber Springs is part of Project Imagine. Suddenlink will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services in other communities as they are confirmed.

Arkansas Communities Get More HD Channels

Today, Suddenlink rolled out more high-definition (HD) TV channels in Heber Springs, Hot Springs Village and Malvern, Ark. The new HD channels include: NBC Sports Channel HD, Speed HD, Sportsman Channel HD, MSNBC HD, Cartoon Network HD, ESPNU HD, Golf Channel HD, Encore HD, Hallmark Channel HD, Lifetime Movie Network HD, BET HD, Headline News HD and E! HD.
