Nine More Communities Get MAX 107.0

Beginning today, residential customers in Arkadelphia, Atkins, Dover, Heber Springs, Malvern and Newport Ark.; DeRidder and Minden La.; and Greenville Miss., can get our High-Speed Internet MAX 107.0 service. MAX 107.0 features a download speed up to 107 megabits per second (Mbps) and an upload speed up to 5 Mbps, the fastest residential service in these communities.

Since spring of 2010, MAX 107.0 has been made available to residential customers in the following Suddenlink-served communities:

  • Arkansas: Batesville, El Dorado, Hot Springs Village, Jonesboro, Mountain Home, Pocahontas and Russellville
  • Louisiana: Alexandria, Bossier City (including Barksdale Air Force Base), Grambling, Haughton, Lake Charles, Natchitoches, Ruston and Sulphur
  • Mississippi: Greenwood
  • Missouri: Branson, Nixa, Ozark, St. Joseph
  • North Carolina: Bethel, Chocowinity, parts of Edgecombe County, Enfield, Greenville, Kinston, LaGrange, New Bern, Parmele, Rocky Mount, Scotland Neck, Tarboro, Walnut Creek, Washington, Washington Park, Williamston, and other parts of Beaufort, Lenoir,Martin, and Wayne Counties
  • Oklahoma: Seminole, Wewoka
  • Texas: Abilene, Amarillo, Bryan-College Station, Conroe, Georgetown, Gladewater, Henderson, Jarrell, Kingwood, Pflugerville, Lake Conroe, Leander, Lufkin, Lubbock, Midland, Post, San Angelo, Shallowater, Tulia, Tyler, Whitehouse, Wolfforth

Mid South Communities Get TiVo Stream

Today we announced the availability of TiVo® Stream service to many communities in our Mid South region.  TiVo Stream allows customers to stream TV shows around the house wirelessly on iPod Touch, iPads and iPhones, and also transfer DVR-recorded programs to the same mobile devices for later viewing on the go.

Ability to transfer some programs to TiVo Stream devices may be prohibited by the program owners. Android devices and access to video-on-demand content will be added later.

TiVo Stream is now available to our customers in the following Mid South communities (listed by state): ARKANSAS — Arkadelphia, Atkins, Batesville, Clarksville, Dardanelle, Dover, El Dorado, Heber Springs, Helena, Hot Springs Village, Jonesboro, Lamar, London, Magnolia, Malvern, Morrilton, Mountain Home, Newport, Pocahontas, Pottsville and Russellville; LOUISIANA — Alexandria, Bastrop, Bossier City, Boyce, DeRidder, Iowa, Lake Charles, Leesville, Minden, Natchitoches, Ruston, Sulphur and Minden; MISSISSIPPI – Greenville; MISSOURI — Aurora, Branson, Carthage, Monett, Nixa and St. Joseph.

Since October, TiVo Stream has been launched in more than 60 Suddenlink communities in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina and Texas. We expect to further expand the availability of TiVo Stream to additional markets in the near future.

MAX 50.0 Launched in Batesville, Greenville

Starting yesterday, residential customers in Batesville, Ark., and Greenville, Miss., can get High-Speed Internet MAX 50.0 service. With a download speed up to 50 Megabits per second (Mbps), it is the fastest residential Internet service offered in these communities.

In both areas, we’ve also added a High-Speed Internet 30.0 service, with a download speed up to 30 Mbps.

Since spring of 2010, MAX 50.0 service has been made available to residential customers in the following Suddenlink-served communities:

Arizona: Bullhead City, Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Parker, Payson

Arkansas: Jonesboro, Pocahontas

California: Auburn, Humboldt County, Truckee

Suddenlink VOD Launched in Greenville, Miss.

Starting today, our customers in Greenville, Miss., who have Suddenlink digital receivers, can enjoy Video on Demand (VOD) service, available on Channel 1.

VOD features thousands of viewing choices, many of them in high-definition (HD) format, including movies, sports, news, music and popular cable-network shows. More than a third of the Suddenlink VOD library is free. The rest is available for either a per-view charge or monthly subscription. Viewers can order titles via remote control at any time.

The introduction of VOD in Greenville is part of Project Imagine. Suddenlink will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services in other communities as they are confirmed.
