“American Pickers” Will Soon Scout Muskogee

A producer from History Channel’s “American Pickers” will visit Suddenlink-served Muskogee, Okla., in early June, in search of prime “picking” locations for the show’s stars Frank Fritz and Mike Wolfe.

Casting Associate Producer Anthony Rodriguez says they are looking for unique items, such as Civil War antiques, vintage casino gaming machines, vintage motorcycles and scooters, old advertising signs, and antique rodeo gear.

This Muskogee Phoenix article includes a more complete list of  items “American Pickers” is seeking, and instructions for contacting the producers.

‘American Pickers’ Seeks Treasures in Arkansas

Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, hosts of History Channel’s “American Pickers,” will soon visit Suddenlink-served Arkansas, reports the Fayetteville Flyer.  They’ll be seeking valuable antiques and collectibles in junkyards, basements, garages and barns. Where and when the show will be filmed has not been announced and will likely depend on whether or not producers find enough interesting leads on “picking” locations. Arkansans who think they have worthy treasures can call (646) 493-2184 or email americanpickers@cineflix.com.

History Channel is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
