Nielsen: Men Prefer Tablets, Women Like eReaders

Women are dominating eReader ownership while men gravitate toward tablets, according to recent data from Nielsen. The study indicates 61% of eReader owners are women.  Men, however, own 57% of tablet-style computers.  When Amazon releases its tablet later this year, it will be interesting to see if it fares as well with female consumers as its Kindle eReader.
