Arkansas Communities Get MAX 50.0 Service

Beginning yesterday, residential customers in El Dorado, Russellville, Clarksville, London, Morrilton, Pottsville, Dardanelle and Lamar, Ark., can get High-Speed Internet MAX 50.0 service. With a download speed up to 50 Megabits per second (Mbps), it is the fastest residential Internet service offered in these communities.

Since spring of 2010, MAX 50.0 service has been made available to residential customers in the following Suddenlink-served communities:

Arizona: Bullhead City, Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Parker, Payson

Arkansas: Batesville, Jonesboro, Pocahontas

California: Auburn, Humboldt County, Truckee

Louisiana: Alexandria, Bossier City (including Barksdale Air Force Base), Haughton, Lake Charles, Natchitoches, Pineville, Sulphur

Mississippi: Greenville

Missouri: Branson, Nixa, St. Joseph

North Carolina: Enfield, Halifax County, Kinston, New Bern, Scotland Neck, Tarboro

Texas: Abilene, Athens, Balch Springs, Lufkin, Fate, Forney, Gladewater, Grand Saline, Heath, Hideaway Lake, Lindale, McClendon-Chisholm, Mineola, Nacogdoches, Quitman, Rockwall, Royse City, San Angelo, Seagoville, Talty, Terrell

TiVo Premiere DVR Comes To Six More Cities

Today, Suddenlink launched the TiVo® Premiere DVR in El Dorado, Mountain Home and Magnolia, Ark., Branson and Nixa, Mo., and Natchitoches, La.

TiVo Premiere combines Suddenlink’s service with TiVo’s best-in-class user interface to offer access to thousands of hours of entertainment choices, including content from Suddenlink’s video-on-demand library and the Web (e.g., YouTube videos), all accessible through TiVo’s advanced search and discovery features.

Suddenlink is the only multichannel TV service provider in the community to offer TiVo Premiere DVR. Since late last year, the device has been launched in the following markets: Amarillo, Andrews, Big Spring, Bryan-College Station, Canyon, Floydada, Georgetown, Huntsville, Lubbock, Midland, Plainview and Tulia, Texas, Clovis, N.M., and Cabot, Ark.

Suddenlink plans to expand the availability of the device to additional markets this year.

El Dorado, Ark., Gets Suddenlink VOD

Beginning today, our customers in El Dorado, Ark., who have Suddenlink digital receivers, can enjoy video on demand (VOD) service, available on Channel 1.

VOD features thousands of viewing choices, many of them in high-definition (HD) format, including movies, sports, news, music and popular cable-network shows. More than a third of the Suddenlink VOD library is free. The rest is available for either a per-view charge or monthly subscription. Viewers can order titles via remote control at any time.

The introduction of VOD in El Dorado is part of Project Imagine. Suddenlink will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services in other communities as they are confirmed.
