Three Seasonal Specials Air this Evening

Tonight, TV viewers have an even wider variety of choices than usual, as three specials are scheduled to premiere. Networks will feature familiar faces and holiday spirit in an evening packed with entertainment.

At 7 p.m. CT, “Toy Story at 20: To Infinity and Beyond” will air on ABC. Producers, designers, and voice actors will celebrate the animated favorite’s anniversary, and explore Pixar’s early years in digital film.

Viewers can celebrate the season with “Michael Bublé’s Christmas in Hollywood” at 7 p.m. on NBC. The one-hour musical program will feature performances from Celine Dion and Tori Kelly, in addition to appearances by Jay Leno, Eva Longoria, and Blake Shelton.

Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors,” inspired by the musician’s remarkable upbringing, will follow on NBC at 8 p.m. The movie special is set in the Tennessee Great Smoky Mountains in 1955, and explores Parton’s family-oriented and faith-based story.

New ‘Disney Pixar’ Collection Now On Demand

This month’s children’s movie collection on Suddenlink On Demand features classic Disney Pixar hits. The lineup features over a dozen films, including “Inside Out,” “Brave,” “Ratatouille,” “Up,” “Finding Nemo,” and more. These movies will be available through Dec. 1.

Three New Movies Available On Demand

Action thriller “Furious 7,” family fantasy “Cinderella (2015)” and Disney documentary “Monkey Kingdom” are now available through Suddenlink On Demand.

Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and the late Paul Walker lead a returning cast of all-stars in the latest installment of the “Fast & Furious” franchise. In “Furious 7,” the crew reassembles to take down a team of mercenaries.

Inspired by the classic fairytale, Disney’s reimagined “Cinderella” brings to life the timeless images from the 1950 animated masterpiece in a visually dazzling spectacle for a whole new generation. Lily James, Cate Blanchett and Richard Madden star.

“Monkey Kingdom” follows a newborn monkey and his mother as they struggle to survive within a competitive social hierarchy in the jungles of South Asia. Tina Fey narrates.

Cable Nets Receive Top Emmy Nominations

Cable networks are once again set to dominate the Primetime Emmy Awards. For the second year in a row, “Game of Thrones” leads the race with 24 nods, helping make HBO the most-nominated network, with a total of 126. FX received 45 nods, including 20 for “American Horror Story: Freak Show.”

Among other cable networks receiving multiple nominations were AMC (24), History Channel (11), Lifetime (10), Discovery Channel (7) and Disney Channel (4). These networks are available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.

New Disney Channel Movie Premieres Tonight

The original movie “Teen Beach 2” debuts tonight on Disney Channel at 7 p.m. CT.

Modern day teens Mack and Brady get a real world visit from their surfer and biker friends from “Teen Beach”. Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell return to star in the sequel.

The original movie “Bad Hair Day” debuts tonight on Disney Channel at 7 p.m. CT. Laura Marano, from “Austin & Ally,” and Leigh-Allyn Baker, from “Good Luck Charlie,” star in the new action-packed buddy comedy.

“Bad Hair Day” tells the story of a high-school student desperate to be prom queen. Her plans for the dance turn into a wild adventure across town when she encounters an unlucky cop and a jewel thief.

‘Maleficent’ Collection Now On Demand

In honor of the release of “Maleficent,” the latest film collection on Suddenlink On Demand features family favorites from Disney. The lineup includes “Sleeping Beauty,” “Tangled,” “Pocahontas,” “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” and more. This collection will be available through Dec. 8.
