The Weather Channel has launched “Connect with Weather,” a campaign designed to provide families and communities with weather preparedness information. Features include a video contest and an interactive website. Local awareness events are also being planned.
The website includes games and activities, a step-by-step guide to creating a disaster plan, and many other resources.
“Connect with Weather” partners include the American Red Cross, American Humane Association, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Portlight Strategies, and Save the Children.
The Weather Channel is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
