TLC & Feeding America Combat Hunger


This month, the “Give a Little TLC” initiative launched, with a goal to provide one million meals for families in need across the U.S. by the end of 2015. With Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, the network hopes to inspire viewers to make a difference by giving time, support and compassion.

USA Unites Awards Nominations Due April 17

The nomination period for the USA Unites Awards runs through April 17. Suddenlink is again partnering with USA Network for the annual awards, which are part of the network’s ongoing public affairs campaign to address social injustices and bridge cultural divides. The program recognizes extraordinary individuals dedicated to improving lives and strengthening their communities.

Ten winners will each receive a $5,000 grant to help start or build on their community projects, which will also be featured on-air and online. For the first time, this year’s program will include a youth category to recognize young people inspiring change.

Entries, including a maximum 500-word essay on how the nominee meets the criteria of character, impact and influence, can be submitted online.
