‘I Love Lucy’ Comes to CBS in Color

Tonight, CBS will air a newly colorized version of “I Love Lucy.” The special will feature two back-to-back episodes from the 1950s series, beginning at 7 p.m. CT.

The one-hour program will kick off with the “I Love Lucy Christmas Special” from 1956, which follows the Ricardos as they recall how their lives have changed since the birth of their son.  Classic episode “Lucy Does a TV Commercial” will follow, which first aired in 1952.

Three Seasonal Specials Air this Evening

Tonight, TV viewers have an even wider variety of choices than usual, as three specials are scheduled to premiere. Networks will feature familiar faces and holiday spirit in an evening packed with entertainment.

At 7 p.m. CT, “Toy Story at 20: To Infinity and Beyond” will air on ABC. Producers, designers, and voice actors will celebrate the animated favorite’s anniversary, and explore Pixar’s early years in digital film.

Viewers can celebrate the season with “Michael Bublé’s Christmas in Hollywood” at 7 p.m. on NBC. The one-hour musical program will feature performances from Celine Dion and Tori Kelly, in addition to appearances by Jay Leno, Eva Longoria, and Blake Shelton.

Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors,” inspired by the musician’s remarkable upbringing, will follow on NBC at 8 p.m. The movie special is set in the Tennessee Great Smoky Mountains in 1955, and explores Parton’s family-oriented and faith-based story.

‘Empire’ Leads to Host Holiday Special

FOX’s “Empire” is taking a mid-season break, but fans can enjoy the cast tonight on “Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays.” The special will feature modern performances of seasonal classics by Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, and John Legend. Hosts Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard will also sing a duet, along with other surprise guests and performances.

Tonight’s music and variety program begins at 8 p.m. CT. New episodes of “Empire” will return in March 2016.

‘The Great Christmas Light Fight’ Returns Tonight

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Holiday decorating competition “The Great Christmas Light Fight” premieres season three this evening on ABC at 7 p.m. CT.

The reality series follows families and neighborhoods across the country as they create extreme holiday displays in hopes of winning a $50,000 prize. This season will feature new celebrity judges, including “Million Dollar Rooms” personality Carter Oosterhouse and “Restaurant Impossible” designer Taniya Nayak.

Kids Holiday Collection Now On Demand

Celebrate the season with the latest kids collection on Suddenlink On Demand. The lineup features more than a dozen family-friendly holiday films, including “Home Alone,” “It’s A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie,” “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Miracle on 34th Street.” This collection will be available through Jan. 4.

ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas kicks off today, and includes original and classic holiday programming every evening through Dec. 25. The lineup features family favorites, including “Disney’s A Christmas Carol,” “The Year without a Santa Clause,” “Jack Frost,” and “Frosty’s Winter Wonderland.”

Get in the holiday spirit tonight with “The Polar Express” at 6 p.m. CT, followed by “Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” View a full schedule of programming now.

‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ Turns 50

Kristen Bell will host holiday special “It’s Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown” this evening on ABC to honor the anniversary of the iconic classic. Live performances by special musical guests including Kristen Chenoweth, Sarah McLachlan, Pentatonix and Matthew Morrison will begin at 7CT. The award-winning cartoon, which originally premiered in 1965, will follow at 8CT.
