Four New Movies Debut On Demand

Mystery thriller “Gone Girl,” crime drama “A Walk Among the Tombstones,” romantic comedy “Love Is Strange” and crime thriller “The Equalizer” and are now available through Suddenlink On Demand.

Based on a New York Times best-seller, “Gone Girl” follows a man suspected of murdering his missing wife. Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike star.

Liam Neeson stars as a private investigator hired by a drug kingpin to examine a murder case in “A Walk Among the Tombstones.” Dan Stevens and David Harbour also star.

“Love Is Strange” chronicles the story of a couple forced to live separately when they find themselves unemployed. John Lithgow and Alfred Molina star.

In “The Equalizer,” a man is determined to put his life of violence behind him, but cannot resist the urge to help a young girl under the control of dangerous Russian gangsters. Denzel Washington and Chloe Grace Moretz star.

When a poor Princeton grad student (Justin Timberlake) believes he’s been swindled by an online poker site, he heads to Costa Rica to confront a powerful gambling tycoon (Ben Affleck). Gemma Arterton and Anthony Mackie co-star.

Affleck, Terrio Talk ‘Argo’

Discovery Special Tells Real Story Behind ‘Argo’

Argo: Inside Story” will air this weekend on Discovery Channel, Saturday at 9 p.m. CT and again Sunday at 11 p.m. CT.

Updated from its original broadcast in 2002 on Discovery, the one-hour special is narrated by Bryan Cranston, who plays CIA manager Jack O’Donnell in the 2012 Ben Affleck film “Argo.” The special gives an inside look at the dramatic escape and how CIA “chief of disguise” Tony Mendez forged identity documents and elaborate disguises to get past the security agents at the Tehran airport.
