Arizona Service Disruption Promptly Repaired

Two factors temporarily caused various services to be disrupted for our Arizona customers earlier today.

Around 11:30 a.m. Arizona time, one of our network vendors experienced an equipment malfunction that affected multiple services in Bullhead City, Kingman, Parker, and Lake Havasu City. At roughly the same time, a broken fiber was discovered along the network line that was struck by lightning Sunday evening; that broken fiber affected some TV services provided to Flagstaff, Sedona, Camp Verde, Pine, and Payson. (In the latter areas, Internet and phone services were not affected.)

Both issues were promptly identified and subsequently repaired, with all services restored shortly before 1:00 p.m. local time.

Customers in the Bullhead City, Kingman, Parker, and Lake Havasus City areas may need to re-set (power off, wait 10 seconds, then power back on) their Internet and/or phone modems.
