Two Pay-Per-View Events on Tap This Weekend

This weekend brings a doubleheader of live pay-per-view (PPV) events from Suddenlink.

On Saturday at 9 p.m. CT, UFC 153 will feature middleweight champion Anderson Silva, who will move up to light heavyweight to face Stephan Bonnar. Minotauro Nogueira takes on Dave Herman and Fabio Maldonado battles Glover Teixeira in two other matches on the six-fight main card. The event is available for $44.99 ($54.99 in high-definition format where available).

Four preliminary matches will be broadcast live on FX, which is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.

On Sunday at 7 p.m. CT, Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling presents “Bound for Glory,” TNA’s premier event. In the main match, Austin Aries will battle Jeff Hardy for the heavyweight title. All of the sport’s other superstars will be in action, including Hulk Hogan, Sting, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Bobby Roode, Mr. Anderson, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Miss Tessmacher and Tara. The cost is $39.99 ($49.99 in high-definition where available).

These events are available only to residential, non-commercial customers. Prices exclude taxes, fees, and equipment charges. The events require a digital set-top box (receiver) and are available only in areas where Suddenlink offers PPV. Other restrictions may apply. Residential orders can be placed using a digital remote or by calling 877-694-9474 for more information.

Where VOD service is available, Suddenlink customers with digital receivers can find the VOD menu by tuning to Channel 1. In contrast, where PPV service is available, customers should be able to locate the PPV menu through their digital receiver’s interactive channel guide. Alternatively, if customers have trouble locating the PPV menu through the channel guide, they should be able to find it on one of the following channels, depending on where they receive service: 301, 500, 501, 621, 801, 811, 821 or 871.
