VOD Service Launched in Many, La., Area

Starting today, our customers in the Many, Anacoco, Zwolle and Toledo Bend, La., area, who have Suddenlink digital receivers, can enjoy video on demand (VOD) service, available on Channel 1.

VOD features thousands of viewing choices, many of them in high-definition (HD) format, including movies, sports, news, music and popular cable-network shows. More than a third of the Suddenlink VOD library is free. The rest is available for either a per-view charge or monthly subscription. Viewers can order titles via remote control at any time.

The introduction of VOD in this area is part of Project Imagine. Suddenlink will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services in other communities as they are confirmed.

Four Louisiana Towns Go All-Digital

Suddenlink has completed the transition to an all-digital TV lineup in Anacoco, Fisher, Florien and Hornbeck, La. All-digital TV provides superior picture and sound quality.

Over the course of the month-long conversion, numerous high-definition (HD) TV channels were added. Among them are: Alexandria broadcast stations KALB HD (CBS 5.2), KALB HD (NBC) and WNTZ HD (FOX), NFL Network HD, NFL RedZone HD, Outdoor HD, Speed HD, Sportsman Channel HD, CNN HD, Spike HD, Nickelodeon HD. TBS HD, MTV HD, CMT HD, Fox Sports Houston HD, ESPN HD, USA HD, Discovery HD, Disney HD, National Geographic HD, History HD and HBO East HD.

The service enhancements are part of Project Imagine, Suddenlink’s ongoing investment program. We will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services as they are confirmed.
