Boxing, Wrestling Offered on PPV This Weekend

 

Live boxing and wrestling events are available this weekend on pay-per-view (PPV) from Suddenlink.

On Saturday at 8 p.m. CT, the rivalry between multidivision world champions Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (54-4-2) and Juan Manuel Márquez (54-6-1) continues when they meet for a fourth time. Previous fights between the equally skilled boxers were very close, with one draw and two narrow decisions for Pacquiao. The event is available for $59.99 ($69.99 in high-definition format where available).

Undercard bouts include super featherweights Yuriorkis Gamboa (21-0) vs. Michael Farenas (33-3-4), featherweights Javier Fortuna (20-0) vs. Patrick Hyland (27-0) and lightweights Miguel Vazquez (32-3) vs. Mercito Gesta (26-0-1).

On Sunday at 7 p.m. CT, TNA Wrestling presents Final Resolution from Orlando, Fla. The 12th annual event features the fans’ favorite Impact Wresting superstars – Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Rob Van Dam, James Storm and Samoa Joe. Two Pay-Per-View Events on Tap This Weekend

This weekend brings a doubleheader of live pay-per-view (PPV) events from Suddenlink.

On Saturday at 9 p.m. CT, UFC 153 will feature middleweight champion Anderson Silva, who will move up to light heavyweight to face Stephan Bonnar. Minotauro Nogueira takes on Dave Herman and Fabio Maldonado battles Glover Teixeira in two other matches on the six-fight main card. Four preliminary matches will be broadcast live on FX, which is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
