On the “Top Gear” season finale tonight (History Channel, 8 p.m. CT), the hosts head to Iceland, home of some of the toughest winter off-roading, to prove to the locals that American trucks still have what it takes to conquer the world. Their challenge is to drive over mountains, across frozen rivers and through 30-foot snowdrifts to the virgin land at the top of an active volcano. What could possibly go wrong?
