C-SPAN Student Documentary Contest Returns

For its 12th annual StudentCam competition, C-SPAN is asking students to create short video documentaries based on the topic “Road to the White House: What’s the issue you most want candidates to discuss during the 2016 presidential campaign?”

The grand prize winner with the best overall entry will be awarded $5,000, with cash prize awards of $250, $500, $750, $1,500 and $3,000 for runners-up in both middle and high school categories. The deadline for entries is Jan. 20, with winners announced in March. The top winning videos will air on C-SPAN in April.

C-SPAN, created by the cable television industry to provide public access to the political process, is available to all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
