Suddenlink offers television, Internet, phone, home security and other services to approximately 101,000 customer households, as well as approximately 5,300 business customers in the state.

COMMUNITIES

Suddenlink serves cities and towns throughout the eastern part of the state, including but not limited to: Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Greenville, New Bern, Kinston, Washington and Williamston.

COMMITMENT

Suddenlink expects to invest approximately $20 million this year in North Carolina, and by the end of the year will have invested approximately $200 million in the state since 2006.

In recent years, Suddenlink has rolled out increasingly faster Internet services, with download speeds up to 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps).  It also has completed a fiber-optic network upgrade project in the Rocky Mount and Greenville areas, increased available HD channels, and expanded the availability of video on demand (VOD), wireless home networking (WiFi@Home), TV Caller ID, online video (Suddenlink2GO™), TiVo® HD/DVRs, Any-Room DVR, and a home security service. The company also introduced new state-of-the-art retail centers in New Bern, Kinston and Rocky Mount.

INVOLVEMENT

We are a Chamber of Commerce member in every eastern North Carolina community we serve and proudly provide cash and/or in-kind support to events and organizations throughout the area, including: East Carolina University, Boys and Girls Clubs, Discover Downtown Event Series (Rocky Mount), Martin Community College (Williamston), Mumfest (New Bern) PirateFest (Greenville), Pitt Community College, Nash Community College (Rocky Mount), Ronald McDonald House, Literacy Volunteers of Pitt County, and the Carolinas Gateway Partnership. Employees also participate in and support activities for the American Heart Association, March of Dimes, United Way, Communities in Schools, Rocking Horse Ranch, Crimestoppers, STRIVE, and the Salvation Army Food Drive.
