Suddenlink Benefits From Hiring Vets

Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reporter Brittany Hoover describes how Suddenlink and other Lubbock, Texas, employers benefit from hiring military veterans. Companywide, Suddenlink employs more than 340 veterans, with more than 25 of them in Lubbock.

“Suddenlink is proud of the fact that it employs military veterans,” Director of Corporate Communications Gene Regan told the paper. “Military veterans display a sense of service to country and community that is consistent with our company’s values of teamwork and being active in the community. These values and others all contribute to our ultimate service goal of taking great care of our customers.”

In addition to sponsoring displays and events in Lubbock honoring veterans, Suddenlink reaches out to potential employees through a military search engine job board and works through Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces to publicize job openings.
