Cable TV programs and individual actors were the big recipients of this year’s Golden Globe nominations. They also had a strong showing at last night’s awards, hosted by Ricky Gervais.

USA Network led the way with new series “Mr. Robot,” which won the Golden Globe for Best Drama and Best Actor. Stars from AMC and FX programs were also awarded in top drama and comedy categories.

Premium networks had a strong night, as well. HBO took home Best Actor in a Miniseries for “Show Me a Hero,” and Showtime’s “The Affair” won Best Actress.

USA Today has a complete list of winners.
