Time-Shifting TV Is the New Children’s Trend

As more programming is made available On Demand, audiences are taking advantage of delayed viewing. This phenomenon, also known as time-shifting TV, is particularly popular among children, according to Nielsen.

Networks continue to see increased ratings as a result of time-shifting TV. For example, Disney Channel’s “The Descendants” received a large spike in viewership after originally airing. With On Demand and the option to record programs, perhaps early bedtimes and piles of homework no longer stand between kids and their favorite shows.

Where Suddenlink On Demand is available, check out programs and movies by going to Channel 1. A Suddenlink digital receiver is required to access the On Demand menu.
