Cable Programs Showered with Nominations

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association and The Television Critics Association have announced nominees for their annual awards recognizing excellence in television. Several cable TV series and performers have received recognition, with FX leading in total nominations.

The fourth annual Broadcast Critics’ Choice Television Awards will be televised June 19 by The CW. Finalists include “Louie” on FX, “Veep” on HBO and “Broad City” on Comedy Central.  See the complete list of nominees.

The 30th annual Television Critics Association awards will premiere July 19 on The CW. AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” FX’s “The Americans,” and HBO’s “Game of Thrones” have received nominations, in addition to several other cable network programs. See the complete list of nominees.
