AMC and the Red Cross are joining forces to raise blood donor awareness. “The American Red Cross Zombie Blood Drive” campaign, which runs through Oct. 22, features the support of celebrities who can be seen “zombie-fied” in digital portraits created by “The Walking Dead” special effects artist Greg Nicotero The photos, which feature such stars as Joel Madden, NASCAR’s Kurt Busch, Aisha Tyler, The Black Keys, and Jimmy Smits (shown above), can be viewed on a special AMC Give Blood website.
The website also details a sweepstakes that accompanies the campaign. The grand prize winner will visit the set of “The Walking Dead.”
AMC is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
