NASA, History Channel Honor Armstrong

With the death Saturday of Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon during the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, the NASA website is paying tribute to the American hero. Included are Apollo 11 video highlights, featuring restored footage of Armstrong’s first steps on the moon, an oral history interview with him, photo gallery, and statements from his family, President Obama and others. Visitors are invited to share their thoughts on Armstrong.

Tomorrow, History Channel will honor Armstrong’s legacy and the Apollo 11 mission with an entire day of programming.

History Channel is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
