‘Dirty Jobs’ Goes Down Under Tonight on Discovery

For years, Mike Rowe, star of Discovery Channel’s “Dirty Jobs” has been saluting unsung laborers by introducing us to some of the most dangerous, dirty, smelly and yet vital professions in America. But in the coming weeks, the show’s adventurous host takes on Australia.

In tonight’s episode, Rowe journeys to Australia’s northern coast to work with Aboriginals, who have lived off the land for more than 40,000 years. Upcoming episodes feature adventures in Adelaide, where Rowe helps capture a protected snake species; and Darwin, where he helps control a toad epidemic that is threatening the area’s ecosystem.

Discovery is available to all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
