ESPN, ESPN2 Covering MLB’s Opening Week

To usher in the Major League Baseball season, ESPN and ESPN2 will feature five games from opening week. It starts tomorrow night (7 p.m. ET) on ESPN with the Miami Marlins hosting the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals. That’s followed by two days of doubleheaders on ESPN2. The Boston Red Sox visit the Detroit Tigers on Thursday, April 5 (1 p.m. ET), followed by the Marlins playing the Cincinnati Reds (4 p.m. ET). On Friday, April 6, the San Francisco Giants visit Arizona to play the Diamondbacks (7 p.m. ET), while the Anaheim Angels host the Kansas City Royals in the nightcap (10 p.m. ET).

On Sunday, April 8, ESPN begins its regular “Sunday Night Baseball” schedule, with the Texas Rangers hosting the Chicago White Sox (8 p.m. ET).
