New on VOD: ‘Adventures of Tintin,’ ‘The Muppets’

Animated action film “The Adventures of Tintin” and musical comedy “The Muppets” are now available through Suddenlink Video on Demand.

Director Steven Spielberg begins the big-screen Tintin trilogy with this computer-animated adaptation of the Tintin comic strip. The first installment in the series finds adventure-seeking Belgian reporter Tintin (voiced by Jamie Bell) and surly Captain Haddock (voiced by Andy Serkis) racing to recover a treasure that was lost at sea. The evil Red Rackham (voiced by Daniel Craig) is determined to beat them to it.

In “The Muppets,” when an oil man (Chris Cooper) discovers black gold beneath Muppet Theater, Kermit recruits Muppet super-fan Walter (voiced by Peter Linz) and his two best friends (Jason Segel and Amy Adams) to organize a telethon that will save the venue from being razed and replaced with a giant oil pump.
