Tarboro, N.C., Area Gets VOD, MAX 50.0

Suddenlink has started offering video on demand (VOD) and its new High Speed Internet MAX 50.0 service in Tarboro, N.C., and the surrounding communities served in Edgecombe County. With download speeds of up to 50 Megabits (Mbps), MAX 50.0 is the fastest residential high speed Internet service in the area. Area residents with Suddenlink digital receivers now can access VOD services by going to Channel 1. There they will find more than 6,000 viewing choices, many of them in high-definition (HD) format, including movies, sports, news, music and popular cable-network shows. More than a third of the Suddenlink VOD library is free. The rest is available for either a per-view charge or monthly subscription.

Service enhancements in the Tarboro area are part of Project Imagine. Suddenlink will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services in other communities as they are confirmed.
