ESPN World Cup Viewers Seen Topping 26 Billion

Denver Post reporter Dusty Saunders quipped, “Perhaps ESPN’s slogan of being the worldwide leader in sports coverage is more than Madison Avenue hyperbole,” referring to the projected number of international viewers who will tune in to ESPN’s World Cup soccer coverage from South Africa starting Friday.
