While the iPhone was in high-demand at its introduction in 2007, it has proven no match for the iPad’s popularity. Apple sold its millionth iPad May 3, when the 3G-embedded version went on sale. That’s more than double the sales pace of the first iPhone, according to Ben Patterson, technology writer for Yahoo! News. And Patterson thinks the best may be yet to come.
… current iPad sales figures may well pale in comparison with next year’s expected iPad 2, which (I’m guessing) could see a simultaneous international launch, not to mention more storage and the oft-requested front-facing camera for video chat.
