Another Day, Another (Email) Scam

The bad guys are at it, again. The latest spam email, attempting to mislead Suddenlink customers, opens thus:

We are sending this email to you so that you can verify and let us know if you still want to use this account.

Later in the email, recipients are told this:

WRONG! As we’ve written before, Suddenlink does not send unsolicited email requesting personal or account information. Whenever you receive such email, ignore and delete it. If you have a question about whether an email is legitimate, give us a call. (It’s also a good rule of thumb to not click on links or open attachments in unsolicited or suspicious email.)
