DTV: Don’t Be Confused

A recent Associated Press story suggests that cable TV customers may need to lease a set-top box from their cable company prior to the DTV transition on Feb. 17, 2009. That’s not the case for Suddenlink customers.

Suddenlink customers only need a set-top box (or cable card) if they want access to our Digital cable service. To continue receiving our Basic and/or Expanded Basic service, customers don’t need to do anything, if our cable lines are already connected to their TV sets.
